There's no catalogue here. Each piece begins as a conversation, is shaped by hand, and leaves the workshop as a one of a kind built for you.

Finding furniture that truly fits your room, your rituals and the way light crosses the floor at four o'clock usually means compromise. Here it doesn't.

We start with how and where the piece will be used in your life. We'll sketch and model and revise until the piece feels perfect, then that model will be brought to life. From rough sawn lumber to the final coat of finish, every cut, joint and curve is made by hand.

Morris Furniture Studio has grown over the last 10 years from its humble beginning as a hobby on the weekends, to custom ordered pieces for friends and family, to a full-time business of custom made furniture and cabinetry serving New England.

It started in Jim Morris's garage, taking over valuable parking space through cold and snowy New England winters, building one piece at a time while mastering the craft. Now, from our workshop in Boxford, every piece is still built the same way: by hand, to last.
